Dr Eshwar Madas | Principal G.P


Dr Madas is an experienced general practitioner and is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner. He has experience of working in Victoria, Darwin of Northern Territory and Blue Mountains prior to setting up his own medical centre in Wentworthville (NSW). Dr Madas has excellent skills in general practice with a special interest in skin checks, chronic disease management and men’s health.

In addition to experience in general practice, Dr Madas has extensive experience in medical administration both in Australia  and New Zealand. His role in running hospitals and community centres has allowed him to improve his understand about the needs of patients and their families and has enhanced his decision making skills in addressing patient clincial problems.

The appointment is a formal recognition for Dr Madas’s involvement in teaching medical students from the UWS. In addition, Dr Madas also supervises and teaches medical students on placement from Sydney Medical School at the Lane Street Medical Centre.

Dr Bhadresh Patel


Dr Bhadresh Patel is an Australian trained general practitioner. Dr Patel obtained his medical degree from Gujarat, India and worked for four years in general practice before arriving in Australia in 2006. He then obtained a degree in Medical Ultrasound from RMIT University, Melbourne and worked in various radiology practices around Sydney and Perth. He started working in various hospitals in Perth and Sydney from 2014 and received vast experience in different fields of medicine which include general medicine, surgery, emergency, cardiology, renal medicine, rheumatology and infectious diseases. Dr Patel completed his GP training in western NSW and now works as a fellow GP.
Dr Patel has also obtained a diploma in child health from Sydney University and has excellent knowledge and experience in children health.
His special interests include Imaging (especially ultrasound), musculoskeletal injuries, pregnancy care, diabetes, heart disease, paediatrics, minor skin surgeries, men’s health and chronic disease management.

Dr Patel lives in Wentworthville for nearly ten years now and well aware of our community. He is fluent in Gujarati and Hindi on top of English and can understand Punjabi.

Dr Patel is accredited to provide shared care for pregnant patients registered at Westmead, Auburn and Blacktown hospitals.

Dr Geeta Krishna Tadimalla (Female GP)


Dr.Geeta Krishna Tadimalla has joined Lane Street Medical Centre in Aug 2015. She has extensive experience in both general practice and women’s health; both in India and the Middle East. She is registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and is accredited for providing shared care for pregnant women in Western Sydney.

Dr.Geeta Krishna Tadimalla had acquired her primary qualification from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, India. She practised as a general practitioner for many years in the town of Guntur of South India. In addition, Dr Tadimalla had worked in a 400 bed secondary level hospital in Saudi Arabia for 12 years as a registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology under the guidance of fellows of the Royal college of obstetrics and Gynaecology, London, UK.

Dr.Geeta Krishna Tadimalla is available at Lane Street Medical Centre as an After Hours Doctor between 6pm-10pm week nights and 12pm-10pm on Saturdays and 9am-5pm on Sundays and public holidays. In addition to general practice, her areas of specialist interest are in managing antenatal cases, high risk pregnancies and family planning matters. She possesses excellent skills and competency to carry out procedures such as the insertion and removal of implanon, suturing wounds, removal of skin cancers, etc.

Dr Geeta Tadimalla speaks, In addition English, fluent Bengali, Telugu, Hindi and Urdu and can understand Arabic.

Dr Maurice Matta, MBBS, FRACGP
Dr Maurice Matta has joined our practice on 23rd January 2017. Dr Matta is well known and respected GP in the local area of Wentworthville who has been practising for more than 40 years from Pritchard Street of Wentworthville. Dr Matta comes with a long history of excellence in professional care, including specialised knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology and minor surgical procedures. Dr Matta is also fluent in Arabic and Italian, a highly-valued skill in our multicultural community.
Dr Matta comes to us following the recent closure of ‘The Surgery’ located in Pritchard Street, which was founded in 1956 by the late Dr Tony Buhagiar OAM, who served as President of The NSW Branch of the AMA and also as President of the RACGP during his distinguished forty –three-year career. Dr Buhagiar immediately recognised an unique brilliance in the young Dr Matta when they met at the old Parramatta Hospital in the early 1970’s, and immediately invited him to join his thriving practice. Since the retirement of Dr Matta’s long standing colleagues of Dr Peter Manollaras (retired 30th November2016) and Dr Anton Petrik (retired 20th December 2016), Dr Matta had decided to join our practice with a view to continued to provide the highest standards of family medical practice.

Dr Jacinta Kolend, MBBS

Dr Jacinta Kolend joined the Lane Street Medical Centre as a General Practitioner in March 2017.
Dr Jacinta is registered with AHPRA and has 30 years of experience working in various public and private hospitals in Malaysia. She operated her own Primary Care Medical Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 12 years. She is a passionate and dedicated doctor with special interest in General Medicine, Women’s Health and Paediatrics. Dr Jacinta is available at Lane Street Medical Centre as an Afterhours Doctor daily including weekends and public holidays.
She speaks fluent Malay, Tamil,  has basic understanding of Indonesian (locally known as Bahasa Indonesia), a variant of Malay, in addition to English.

Dr. Sheela Kachwaha is an experienced medical practitioner and has been in General Practice for the last 15 years. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and also holds a Diploma in Child Health.
Dr. Sheela Kachwaha is highly qualified through her experience as a Senior Medical Officer in Westmead, Auburn and Blacktown Hospital, working in departments such as Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Renal, General Medicine & Surgery and the Emergency Department. She also has experience working in the Brain Injury Centre of Westmead Hospital and the Rehabilitation Department at St. Joseph Hospital in Auburn.
Through her 30 year career, Dr. Sheela Kachwaha has focused her expertise towards Women’s Health, which includes Shared Pregnancy Care with local hospitals, Disability Care and Mental Health support, enhanced by her completion of a Special Skill term in the Psychiatry Department of Westmead Hospital. She believes in providing professional and compassionate care for every patient and works towards that standard every day.
Dr. Sheela Kachwaha can speak fluent English, Hindi and Punjabi. She is available at Lane Street Medical Centre every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30AM to 3PM.

Sushma Sathe | Psychologist

Registered Psychologist with the NSW Psychologist Registration Board. Experienced psychologist capable of providing counselling services with various psychological conditions.

Her areas of expertise includes: clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, post-natal depression, relationship issues

She is also a recognised Psychologist under the NSW Work Cover and caters clients for EAP/EPP.

Samantha from “Sydney Rehabilitation and Exercise Physiology” offers Exercise Physiology Services for Lane Street Medical Centre. Please talk to the receptionist at the Centre if you want advice and education regarding an exercise program for various services including

Dona Lee Rose | Audiologist

Dona from “Australian Hearing” visits Lane Street Medical Centre for conducting hearing tests mainly in adults. Please talk to the receptionist at the Centre about how to make an appointment for a Hearing Test.
